The Shimano Symetre FI is built with an Aluminum Frame (model 750 is graphite) and a cold forged aluminum spool that provides increased strength and durability.
The Shimano Symetre FI also has a graphite sideplate and rotor and comes with a spare cold forged aluminum spool. The S-Concept design provides a smooth, silent and strong Reel. This fishing reel has excellent castability and control due to slow oscillation that lays the line in a parallel pattern. The S-Arm Cam protruding surface on the bail arm keeps slack line in contact with the line roller to reduce the chance of tangles and line cuts. The drive train can be easily lubricated without disassembling the reel by accessing the maintenance port. Super Stopper II is a 1-way roller bearing that eliminates backplay for solid hooksets, yet can be turned on or off to allow back-reeling.
